Christian Nourijanian is native New Yorker, Pianist, Keyboard Player, Organ Player, and Private Music Educator. Christian studied music at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary music (BFA), Manhattan School of Music (M.M) and Music Education at Columbia University’s Teachers College (Ed. M).
Christian has shared the stage and played with Anna Shoemaker, Arlissa, Blu DeTiger, Darius Christian, David Redd, Instant Classic, Jess Carvo, Justin Jesso, Juliana Madrid, Kathleen Potton, Gavin Turek, Mree, Mike Wartella, Moonboots, The Knocks, Holiday87, 50 Cent, Raye Zaragoza, Richie Cannata (Billy Joel), St. Lucia, Spencer Ludwig, Skout and more.
He has performed all across the country at many legendary venues and clubs including The Apollo Theater, Irving Plaza, Paradise Rock Club, Soho Beach House Miami, DC 9, Le Poisson Rouge, Brooklyn Bowl, Knockdown Center, Webster Hall, Joe's Pub, World Cafe Live, TLA, Music hall of Williamsburg, Blue Note Jazz Club, The Norva, & Bowery Ballroom among others.
Whether it’s on the stage, in the studio, or working with talented students, Christian continues to grow as a musician and is excited for every opportunity that comes his way.
Music
Studio + Recording
Christian has had the opportunity to record on over 35 records and other studio work. Mostly as a pianist, keyboard player, and sometimes as a co-producer. On top of being a regular session player at a few studios, Christian frequently records remotely from his studio in New York. He uses an array of instruments, a mixture of Digital and Vintage, to get the sounds people want and need for their records.
